Welcome to the Telekom Austria Group’s Online Sustainability Report 2010/11 entitled “Learning from the Best”. The heading above shows whom we mean by this: the generation that has grown up with the new media of the digital age from the cradle and for whom dealing with it is child’s play.
We believe that a Telekom Austria Group Sustainability Report should always have something truly sustainable about it. In recent years, we have therefore always tried to generate an additional benefit for our readers with our report. One year it was a children’s storybook about sustainability, on another occasion it was a cookery book with typical recipes from the varied cuisine of “our” eight operating-countries.
The Sustainability Report 2010/11 focuses on Internet literacy and Internet access. We have asked 8 “young teachers” between the ages of 6 and 11 representing the eight countries of the Telekom Austria Group to teach us useful things about the Internet. Perhaps we know some of it already, but there are still things we can learn from the best in the Internet.
Of course, these examples are only a small selection, but we think that the one or other detail might still be new to you.
